Concrete and Clay Tiles

Concrete tiles are available in a wide variety of colors and profiles - slate, shake, and espana to name a few.

Two-piece Clay

Boulder Glen Way - This custom house in southwest Reno was designed with a "Mexican Villa" theme. We installed a two-piece clay tile utilizing a random installation of natural color motar throughout the field. This gives the roof a "rough" and "rustic" appearance.

Ridge Street - This home in the downtown Reno area features an MCA clay two-piece tile installed in the standard method.

Mountainshyre Road - This two-piece clay tile features a flat or "Italian" pan/bottom piece with a "Cordova" round cap/top piece.

California Avenue - This Italian villa home was built by United States Senator George S. Nixon in 1907. The 15,000 square foot, 33-room mansion has 11 bedrooms, 7.5 baths, and sits on 2.03 acres. In the early 1980's the inside burnt down and was abandoned until 2002 and is now being restored. The material used is a Gladding McBean 2-piece clay tile with a matching colored mortar at the hips and ridges.
